EAZI-BREED CIDR app for iPhone and iPad

This app is to develop breeding programs for dairy cattle in Australia using EAZI-BREED® CIDR®. Users can create tailored synchronisation programs for AI of heifers, or programs to manage non-cycling dairy cows with the assistance of their veterinarian or breeding adviser.

Programs can be created for individual herds and groups, and have individual interactive checklists that can be used to track completion of tasks associated with the AI program. The app provides detailed actions and instructions for each step of the AI process, based on an AI date set by the user, and can be edited and saved on the device. Customised push notifications can be set to appear for tasks for each program to help accuracy of timing of each breeding intervention, and to add value to both advisers and dairy producers alike.

Saved programs can be sent via email or saved as a PDF to share with others in a farm’s dairy management team.

The app also contains information on administration of the EAZI-BREED CIDR device including insertion and removal and links to useful information sources.
